Just days after Anchorage set the record for snowiest winter ever, we made the 13-hour air voyage to Virginia Beach, Virginia. Josh is taking a certification course here with the Court of Master Sommeliers and Davin and I are along for the ride. I’m so lucky my business is thriving, but with what seems a never-ending to-do list lately, it’s some much needed R&R. We had a full day to play before Josh’s class began. So we meandered up and down the boardwalk and beach all day. Davin even swam in the Atlantic for the first time. With several feet of snow still in my yard at home, 70-plus degrees and sand between our toes was nicer that I can explain. We’re here until Wednesday and then head up to D.C. for some more tourist fun.
